Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Karman Healthcare purchase. Following the below instructions ensures your return is processed efficiently. Failure to do so may result in delays or denial of credit.

If you purchased from a local provider or online dealer, please contact your dealer directly for their return policy and process. Each authorized reseller has their own procedures and Karman cannot issue refunds for purchases made through them. If you purchased directly from Karman Healthcare, Inc.:

  • You have 14 days from receipt of the product to request a return.
  • Standard Weight Wheelchairs: Durable options for occasional use (about 3 hours a day or less).
  • Once approved, you have up to 30 days from the ship date to return it.
  • A 10% restocking fee applies.
  • You are responsible for all shipping charges. The original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

What items are non-returnable?

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products purchased more than 30 days from the ship date.
  • Configured wheelchairs, custom or special-order items.
  • Products returned in damaged, altered, or non-original packaging.
  • Items in unsellable condition (broken, used, or damaged).
  • Returns prohibited by state law (subject to Karman Regulatory Affairs approval).
  • Seating components not in original sealed plastic bags.
What if my shipment is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect?

If your shipment is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please follow these steps immediately. Claims made after two (2) business days may not qualify for replacement or credit.

  • 1. Inspect your delivery before signing for it.
  • 2. Count all items and note any damage or shortage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) and have the driver countersign the note.
  • 3. Keep the product in its original carton for possible carrier inspection.
  • 4. Notify Karman Healthcare within two (2) business days of delivery by calling (626) 581-2235 or contacting your sales representative.
What if I received an incorrect product?
  • Contact us within two (2) business days of receipt.
  • We will issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and arrange return shipping.
  • The product must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • Karman Healthcare will cover all return shipping costs.

You must obtain an RMA number from Karman Healthcare before returning any item. Returns received without an RMA will not be accepted. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return box. Issuing an RMA does not guarantee credit.
 Credit is provided only after Karman receives and approves the returned product according to this policy.

To obtain an RMA:

  • Requests must be made within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • Returned products must be shipped within 30 days, freight prepaid.
  • Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee and deduction of all shipping costs.
  • Exchanges (color, size, etc.): Restocking fee reduced to 5%.
  • Custom-made items: Not returnable under any circumstances.

If your return is due to an error made by Karman Healthcare and all items on the invoice are returned, Karman will credit any original freight and handling fees.
