Muscular Dystrophy: Wheelchair Needs

Muscular Dystrophy

Sometimes Muscular Dystrophy is defined by the wasting of muscle tissue; it is a genetic disease that affects people without prejudice.

There are different types of Muscular dystrophy such as myotonic, limb-girdle, congenital, distal, becker, duchenne, oculopharyngeal, and others. All of them are inherited through the parents.

To become independent while suffering from MD, you may require a wheelchair to get around. A manual wheelchair with companion handles may be the best type of wheelchair out there for this condition, any people suffering from severe MD, can also look into a reclining chair or a tilting wheelchair for more advanced features.
