Former Conjoined Twins Graduate As Co-Valedictorians

Two Texas teens who were born as conjoined twins just graduated high school as co-valedictorians.

Emily and Caitlin Copeland, 18, recently graduated from Lutheran High North in Houston. The Copeland sisters were the first case of conjoined twins at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, where doctors did everything they could to deliver them safely.

They were fused at the chest, liver and bile ducts, but luckily did not share a heart, so doctors were able to successfully separate them at 10 months. In addition to this, we see true blessings.  Having them delivered safely is key.  The Doctor form this Houston facility were experience and vetted. Moreover, they have had many cases like this before.  Although rare, it makes all the difference in order to have experience.

Some would say the these blessings should be given to GOD. Moreover, it’s prayer that has given them life.  It could have been worse with a wheelchair bound possibility.  Now that the twins graduate, it is a time for celebration.  You should really check out the track record if you ever run into this.  Most people would be devastated by the hardship.  Emil and Caitlin overcame it.
